I love to take outfits from fashion shows and recreate them in real life. Sometimes the looks seem so crazy on the runway, but when you tone them down they become wearable. Here are some real life recreations inspired by Spring 2016.
This bold style can be playful and fun. Pair a military dress with combat boots, and don’t forget the earrings.
You don’t have to be as flashy as Ma$e to enjoy this look. Take a shiny blazer, keep everything else simple, and don’t shy away from that tie.
The pink really gives this gothic look a pop. Add a skater skirt and some funky shoes, and you’re good to go.
For the Love of Fur
If you want to be completely fabulous, throw a fur coat over a satin dress. A stylish stocking will take it to the next level.
Carine Roitfeld, former Editor in Chief at French Vogue, has joined Uniqlo for a collaboration. This collection is centered on simple, chic fashion. In this interview, Carine demonstrates how she creates sexy looks without showing skin.
I think the best part about this collaboration is that they kept the prices low. These pieces are no more than anything else you would buy at Uniqlo, which is great. Check out my picks from the line:
Happy Halloween, guys! I hope you’re enjoying the holiday. I’ve seen so many great costumes, but my favorite part of Halloween is the makeup. It’s so detailed, and I know it takes hours and multiple tries to get some of these right. I appreciate the ladies that go the extra mile to create art on their faces. Here are my favorite looks from IG.
The love crossbody is now available in genuine velvet embossed leather. They’re priced at $295–a little steep for a trend like this, but they do look soft. I’m not sure how I feel about velvet bags, but I do love the style of this crossbody.
Yeezy Season 1 has finally arrived online at My Theresa. The collection didn’t get the best reviews when it first debuted on the runway, but that hasn’t stopped it from selling out. There are still a few items that are available online, and here are my faves.
If you want to get a sold out item, try searching for it here.
